Dogs are so weird!

Maggie just gave me quite a scare. She was lurching around and one leg kept sliding out from under her. I thought she'd broken her leg or had a stroke or something.

Turns out she had a Coke bottle cap stuck on one of her claws.

Whew!

Oh, and that Murano bowl? Over on the Murano Society discussion board, a member told me that she had a very similar bowl with sticker intact - Fratelli Toso. So I'm considering that anothe mystery solved.

Great yard sale!

This morning for a rarity I happened to be up and moving around at 8 am, so I decided to drive a bit and see if there was anything good at the yard sales. Only found one yard sale, but it was a multi-, and ooh!

Got a Vernon Kilns coffee carafe with bakelite handle circa 1937, and some sort of Murano-ish bowl I'm still trying to peg down.

AND the Myst sequel for a quarter! Of course, I haven't found my way through Riven yet, but one of these days...
